Description

This short-term course is devoted to designing a new introductory-level Religious Studies course to be required of all majors and minors. The course introduces students to the ways in which the field of Religious Studies has been constructed alongside, and as an integral part of, modern systems of colonialism, racism, and Western white supremacy and how the field also continues to be transformed by the work of minoritized scholars/communities and cross-cultural collaborations.
