This advanced reading seminar examines historical and contemporary relationships among masculinities, femininities, and technologies. Throughout, the seminar seeks to illuminate structured relations of inequality, investigating the ways in which everyday material objects come to generate, enforce, and transform patterns of social stratification. Prerequisite(s): GSS 100 and two other courses listed in gender and sexuality studies.
