The Translated World (C067)

In this concentration, students explore literature from different historical epochs in translation. Students consider how these kinds of literature represent culturally distinct experiences and contribute to a complex understanding of global imaginations, values, and societies.

Complete any four courses designated with the (C067) GEC attribute. One non-Bates credit may be applied toward the concentration if judged comparable to one of those below by the concentration coordinator and with prior approval.
