• THEA 105 Introduction to Performance Studies

Additional Courses

Complete an additional 5 credits in Theater (THEA).

Students may apply up to one credit of THEA 290 Practicum, one credit of THEA 360 Independent Study, and 0.5 credits of THEA S50 Independent Study. Students may also apply up to two Short Term Theater courses.

The following First Year Seminars may also apply:

• FYS 447 Holocaust on Stage
• FYS 576 Asian American and Pacific Islander Forms of Memory

Courses Taken Outside of Bates

With prior permission of the department, students may apply Study Abroad credit towards the Additional Courses requirement.

Pass/Fail

Pass/Fail grading may be applied to one 100- or 200-level course in the minor.

Restricted Declarations

Students who have declared the Theater minor may not declare the following:

• Theater major
• Theater Arts (C028) GEC
