Minor Requirements

The minor in physics consists of six courses:

Complete one course from the following:
PHYS 108	Introductory Physics of Living Systems II/Lab
PHYS S31	Spacetime, Waves, and Photons
Complete the following courses:
PHYS 211	Newtonian Mechanics
PHYS 222	Electricity and Magnetism
Additional Courses
Complete at least three courses from the following:
PHYS 107	Introductory Physics of Living Systems I/Lab 1
PHYS 109	Energy, Matter, and Motion 2
Any course in the Physics and Astronomy department 200-level or higher

Pass/Fail

Pass/Fail grading may not be elected for courses applied toward the minor.

Restricted Declarations

Students who have declared the Physics minor may not declare the following:

• Physics major
• Physics of the Large and Small (C056) GEC
