Queer and Trans Studies (C094)

Concentration Coordinator: Erica Rand

Courses in Queer and Trans Studies consider gender and sexuality as they are understood, lived, and transformed in dynamic relation to matters such as race, class, and (dis)ability. How are norms developed, rewarded, regulated, and contested? What can we learn from foregrounding non-normative and anti-normative perspectives?  Queer and Trans Studies courses consider history, culture, and politics.
